"From the moment I walked in and started my consultation, I felt so comfortable. Every single staff member I spoke to was kind and attentive. A breast augmentation consult has the potential to be a little awkward (so I experienced at a previous establishment), but not at CSA. I was able to comfortably discuss and show the surgeon and nurse what I wanted to achieve and ask all the questions. I schedule my surgery that day. Sarah, helped with the financing consult and was beyond supportive. Not only did she provide support before but evens two weeks post op she is answering all my questions. She is a truly wonderful person who was meant for that job and goes above and beyond. I chose Dr. kaplin to do my surgery and met with her right before because I had a change of mind and wanted to increase my implant size last minute. She was very open and helpful with this. I took in her advice and I was able to decide on what larger implant I wanted. She never made me feel like a pain and listened to what I wanted and gave me what I wanted. Looked through photos with me and discusses options. Post op, my results I am beyond happy with! It has been two weeks post op and I don’t have a single regret! There were so many Cheerful and great ladies, I can’t even name them all. Thank you so much CSA!"- C.R. / Google / Mar 14, 2023

"I had a breast lift almost a year ago. Dr. Nuveen and his staff were amazing!! They were always there when i needed them regardless of the time of day. I recommend Dr. Nuveen for any cosmetic procedure you may want to have. He is a life changer!!! Thank you!!"- M.G. / Google / Mar 07, 2023
"I had a surgery in Amarillo, TX, that went wrong with a plastic surgeon local, I was afraid I could not find a surgeon, to treat me, I searched for a surgeon, more qualified than a plastic surgeon, and Cosmetic Affiliates came up, I read the difference between a plastic surgeon and a cosmetic surgeon, there is a difference, I could tell there was a difference, in the consultation and the consultation that I had with the plastic surgeon in Amarillo. As of now, it’s worth consulting with a cosmetic surgeon. I loved meeting with Dr. Chaplin, I will keep you posted Post-Op, on the positive note, she has her own Surgery Center, so you don’t have to work with a public Surgery Center, and her pricing was better. I should have thought out of the box, and looked at OKC to begin with!"- R.M. / Google / Feb 17, 2023
"I had implant exchange a month ago with Dr. Nuveen. It has been a great experience starting with the front desk girls, nurses and doctors. They had been there to answer every question, always willing to listen and ease my mind, Dr. Nuveen surgery exceeded my expectations. I recommend CSAOK 100%."- S.M. / Google / Feb 11, 2023
WPATH, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, is a nonprofit (501c3) organization that focuses on the professional, educational, and interdisciplinary aspects of transgender health. Frequently Asked Questions
How old must I be to have surgery?
WPATH's standard of care notes that some surgeries can be performed on patients at the age of 16 and older while other surgeries must wait until a patient is at least 18 years old. In certain situations, surgeries may be performed at a younger age once a patient has completed their counseling and is deemed healthy and ready to begin their physical transition.
Do all transitioning individuals undergo surgery?
The decision to undergo surgery is entirely personal. Many transgender individuals choose to have surgery while others may decide against it. We feel that the most important aspect of your transition is the support of those closest to you. Should you choose to move forward with gender reaffirming surgery, Dr. Nuveen and Dr. Caplin will follow the WPATH standard of care to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Will I need to provide documentation before surgery?
Before your surgery can be scheduled, Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates will request documentation confirming a gender dysphoria diagnosis and proof of counseling. This is a standard of care outlined in the WPATH guidelines, which we closely follow in order to make sure your transition is seamless.
How do I know which surgeries I need?
When you are ready to consider surgery, contact our Oklahoma City, OK facility to schedule a comprehensive consultation with Dr. Nuveen or Dr. Caplin.
