What Do I Put Where?

While at the CSA MedSpa, you will be under the care of our Licensed Aesthetician and Nurse Injector, who will listen to your concerns, provide the information you need to make the decision that is right for you, or make suggestions based on your personal goals. Choosing the right filler for your aesthetic needs can be overwhelming.  There are a lot of options to choose from!  Having that one-on-one with your injector will help determine what areas you want to highlight, and which areas you'd like to work on.  

In terms of available products, JUVÉDERM® is an industry standard.  The actual product is a hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler, which is designed to replace and refill naturally occurring HA to areas where it has been lost.  The naturally-occurring HA in your body absorbs water and moisturizes your skin from the inside out.  As we age, however, our natural supply of HA is depleted, leaving us with a loss of facial volume, depressions in the skin, and wrinkles.  By injecting JUVÉDERM® back into the skin, we fill in these lines and hollow areas and plump your skin to its original state. Additionally, once injected, the hyaluronic acid begins to draw water to the treatment area, adding to the full, youthful effect by significantly reducing the signs of aging and erases years from your appearance instantly. 

The type of JUVÉDERM® you choose will depend on the location and severity of your wrinkles, folds, or volume loss. Here's a quick guide of "What to Put Where."

Vollure XC is used to plump the skin and correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, lasts up to 18 months, and tends to have less pain during injection and reduced swelling associated with.

Volbella XC is an FDA-approved dermal filler designed specifically for the lips and surrounding area and can last up to a year. 

Voluma XC  is an injectable gel, administered deep into the cheek area, adding volume and lift. 

Voluma XC is proven to last up to 2 years. Repeat patients who are treated again after 2 years typically require less product to get the same great results. 

Ultra XC injectable gel is designed for fuller lips and reducing the appearance of vertical lip lines and can last up to a year.

Ultra Plus XC is a denser form of the cosmetic injection, administered deep into the skin for more dramatic results. Best for significant lip enhancement, deeper wrinkles, nasolabial folds, areas with greater volume loss, and facial shaping.
