Meet Dr. Tedesco
John Tedesco, D.O., FACOS, FAACS is fellowship-trained and triple board-certified in general, cosmetics, and facial cosmetic surgery. He also carries the prestigious designation of Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.
Dr. Tedesco is appointed to the OSU-COM Adjunct faculty in the rank of Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery. Dr. Tedesco is also part of the MENSA High IQ Societyfor having scored in the top two percent of the general population on an intelligence test approved by the Admissions Board of MENSA. Dr. Tedesco graduated from medical school in Philadelphia, PA at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his general surgical training in Tampa Bay, FL at Largo Medical Center and completed his fellowship in Little Rock, AR, under the prestigious direction of world-renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Jim English. Dr. Tedesco prides himself in providing absolute state-of-the-art care in the most comfortable and compassionate atmosphere possible. Dr. Tedesco has lectured nationally to other plastic and cosmetic surgeons and continually strives to stay at the cutting edge of the field. He has received numerous awards and accolades and is a member of American Mensa.
The question most often asked to Dr. Tedesco is why he chose to continue his career in Oklahoma. For him, the answer is simple, "It’s the people!” While opportunities were available to him all around the country, he fell in love with Oklahomans and the heartland. This is where he chose to put down roots and build his practice. This is home.
Dr. Tedesco’s surgical skill, artistic talent, and reputation for providing excellent patient care actually extend beyond Oklahoma. Patients regularly travel from Arkansas, Texas, and several other states throughout the country to have their procedures with him.
