MOMMY MAKEOVER: Tummy Tuck, Flank Liposuction and Breast Augmentation*

This 37 year old female patient came to Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates wanting to get her body back in to pre-baby shape. Patient consulted with Dr. Nuveen and Dr. Caplin to discuss what would help her reach this goal. Saline, silicone and cohesive gel silicone implants were discussed at this time. Patient chose to go with the 410 silicone cohesive gel implant. This implant is also known as the "gummy bear" implant and has a teardrop shape. Patient also chose to get rid of the bulkiness of her abdomen with a tummy tuck, also known as an abdominoplasty, as well as with liposuction to the flanks. By performing liposuction to the flanks, or love handle region, patients are able to achieve a more contoured hour glass figure.
