She holds medical and dental degrees, and has completed advances sub-specialized fellowship training in cosmetic surgery of the face and body. Dr. Caplin is committed to giving back to the global community. She has volunteered her sterling technical skills to correct cleft lip and palate defects in patients living in developing countries.

Dr. Erik Nuveen is the founder and president of Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates. Dr. Nuveen holds the distinction of being Oklahoma City’s only cosmetic surgeon to hold three separate board certifications. He is a Diplomate of The American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, The American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Nuveen has performed more than 14,000 major cosmetic surgeries, and he has received numerous professional awards and recognitions during his distinguished career of more than 15 years. He has never practiced any other form of medicine but cosmetic surgery. His focus and dedication make him unique. He prides himself in taking the greatest joy from good communication with his patients and trying to best understand the patient’s uniqueness in achieving their goals through cosmetic surgery.
